Cornhole Board Care

🧽 Cornhole Board Care

Because these boards were made to last—if you treat 'em right.

🪵 Finish & Protection

Your board has been hand-finished with 5–6 coats of Polycrylic—which means:

It's durable, smooth, and water-resistant

But it's not indestructible (sorry, no tossing them in the pool)

☀️ Outdoor Use

These are not meant to be left outside permanently.

Think of them like a good steak— they don't like sunburn or soaking.

Bring them in after the game, especially in rain, humidity, or direct sunlight.

🔧 Scratches & Surface Fixes

Scratches happen. Good news? They're easy to fix:

1. Lightly sand the scratch with 400 grit sandpaper 2. Wipe clean with a damp cloth 3. Recoat with Minwax Polycrylic (gloss or satin—your call) 4. Let dry, then go play again

🛠 Pro Tip: Spot-repair only the area you need. No need to redo the whole board unless it's a total mess.

📦 Storage

Store boards flat or standing upright

Keep them away from heat vents, damp garages, or wild raccoons

A climate-controlled space is ideal

🧼 Cleaning

Wipe down with a dry microfiber cloth

If needed, a slightly damp cloth (no harsh cleaners or soap)

🙌 Longevity Tips

Don't stack heavy things on them (they're not shelves)

Avoid dragging them on concrete

Don't throw metal bags. Please.
